Houston's Lasagabaster wins Player of the Week award
The American League's best player of the week was Kansas
City's John Blaney, who wins
the award for the 5th time in his career. In 26 at
bats he hit .500 with 4 HR and 12 RBI. Houston's second
baseman Cristian Lasagabaster
had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league
named him the National League Player of the Week. Cristian
went 16 for 26 (.615), while hitting 3 HR and collecting
7 RBI.
